Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) CBSE is to conduct second Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET on January 29, 2011. CBSE has issued application forms for ‘Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)‘ to be held in January 2012. This year CBSE will conduct CTET in online mode also apart from the regular paper pencil mode.
You can apply through printed application forms too. It will be available from November 05, 2011 till November 25, 2011from the Designated Branches of syndicate Bank & Institutions specified as under against cash payment (Not by post).
Cost of CTET Application Form
For General/OBC candidates : Rs.500/-
For SC/ST/Differently abled candidates : Rs.250/-
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi which will be held on 29.01.2012 (Sunday).
The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.

Application procedure for CTET 2012 to be held in January
The online submission of particulars may be made at website www.ctet.nic.in. The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Confirmation page with Registration No. shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation page and paste photograph, sign in the space earmarked for the purpose. The confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered/Speed Post to CBSE (NOT BY COURIER) to ” The Assistant Secretary (CTET Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, ‘Shiksha Sadan’, 17, Rouse Avenue, New Delhi – 110002” along with original Demand Draft (if fee paid by Demand Draft) for further processing so as to reach latest by 30.11.2011 . Application received beyond this date will not be accepted.
