Through the years, Filmfare has become the most awaited event in the industry. It was a night to be remembered as everyone looked on with pride and admiration at the coveted Black Lady was presented to the deserving winners. With a slew of performances by the biggest names in filmdom, the annual Idea Filmfare Awards is now an extravagant gala of glitz, glamour, excitement and entertainment.

This year, the Filmfare Awards was hosted by the King Khan Shahrukh Khan and the charming Ranbir Kapoor who bought the house down with their wit and humour. There were power packed performances with the beautiful Kareena Kapoor, vivacious Priyanka Chopra, charming Deepika Padukone and the sizzling Rakhi Sawant setting the stage on fire. The newly wedded star couple Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza performed on the evergreen Pehla Nasha while SRK brought back his Dilwale days dancing to Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna .

Zindagi Na Miley Dobara took away the award for the Best Movie while Rockstar Ranbir won the Best Actor Award. Vidya Balan with her "ooh La la" performance won the Best Actress award".

57th Filmfare Awards 2012 List of Winners - Filmfare Awards 2012 Winners List - Vidya & Ranbir Wins Best Actor Awards

It was the day of "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" crews ,sweeping 7 honours at 57th annual Filmfare Awards were held Sunday night in Mumbai.The blockbuster movie backed the best film award, Director Zoya Akhtar won the best director.Zoya's brother Farhan Akhtar won award  for best dialogue and best supporting actor for his role in the same movie.

As obvious, Vidya Balan won best actress for her  solid performance as sex symbol South Indian star Silk Smitha in blockbuster hit The Dirty Picture.

 Ranbir Kapoor  bagged  best actor  for Rockstar as tough character of heart-broken Rockstar.Music legend A R Rahman won the best music director for  rocking music in "Rockstar".

Rani Mukherjee won best supporting actress for her role of  TV journalist in No One Killed Jessica, based on the real-life 1999 murder of a Delhi-based fashion model Jessica Lal.Priyanka Chopra won the critics award for best actress for director Vishal Bhardwaj's 7 Khoon Maaf.

The lifetime achievement award was given to veteran actress Aruna Irani who has been in the industry for around 51 years.

The awards ceremony was hosted by  Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.The Award night witnessed breathtaking performances by superstar Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor.The audiences were treated with highly exciting performances from their favourite stars.
