'Work from home' spam tricks thousands of Twitter users


Micro blogging platform Twitter has been flooded with another spam 'Work from home '.Compromised Twitter accounts has been used by hackers to spread spam which tweet bogus messages and updates.These
Message contains Fraudulent CNBC story revealing secret behind success of Indian mom making $5000 every month by working 10-12 hours per week from home.

The new twitter scam is targeted to gullible single mothers and teenagers to promote the 'make money fast ' websites.Victims are probably tricked into pay for sales packs and training materials as initial investment for huge earnings.

The twitter messages appears to be genuine as it arrive from an online friend or acquaintance.It could have probably spread through third party applications being authorized by users to post tweets.Thus the only way to stay safe is that you carefully review the list of authorized applications and remove the ones that sound unfamiliar.
