Finally ,Its been revealed ! Shipra Khanna won the prestigious title of Master Chef India Season 2 . She became winner of Masterchef India Season 2 by outstripping Salma Shazia Fatima Khan in a nail biting finish. Star Plus conducted grand finale of Masterchef India 2 on December 31st 2011 and 1st January, 2012.

Grand Finale - I (31st December)
Joseph, Shazia & Shipra were greeted by all the eliminated contestants and Akshay Kumar as they entered the grand finale. The contestants were given an hour to cook a dish, but the ingredients were presented to them gradually through a conveyor belt. They were given 10 options and they had a chance to reject 4 out of them. They started cooking blindly and finished a dish. It was tasted by all the judges and Akshay Kumar. Shipra presented a dessert, baked yogurt and Shazia & Joseph made main course dishes.

Grand Finale - II (1st January)
The judges were ready with the results. Shipra was the first contestant to go to the final 2. Then Joseph was eliminated & Shazia entered the final 2. Joseph was then offered a new job with Mumbai Renaissance hotel. The final 2 were asked to make their signature dish in 2 hours. Shipra made a Italian-Indian style fish & a garam masala flavoured cake. Shazia made a chicken dish & payasam in a new avatar. Apart from the judges, 100 of their fans also tasted their dishes and voted.
After the voting, Shipra won with 53 votes. She was presented with Rs. 1 crore, a trip to London and her own cookery show. Shazia was given Rs. 10 lakhs. She decided to share it with Vijaylakshmi & Rajendran. Joseph got Rs. 5 lakhs and a new job.
