Finally hot young couple from Bollywood start life as newly married after 8 long years of relationship.Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza tied knot on 3rd February 2012 at the Grand Hyatt in Santa Cruz, Mumbai.
Genelia was seen wearing a mehroon and gold lehenga for the wedding while Groom Riteish wore a white sherwani and red turban. The couple got married in both traditional Maharashtrian way and Christian way. Prior to wedding ceremony ,the had a pre-wedding party on January 24, 2012 followed by a sangeet ceremony at Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai on January 31, 2012 in a grand manner.
The wedding was held in traditional Marathi style and event gathered bigwigs from the film and political world.From B-Town,celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan,Akshay Kumar, Ashish Chowdhary, Ashutosh Gowariker, Sajid Nadiadwala, Satish Shah Ajay Devgn ,Kajoland Asin were present.Political leaders like Sharad Pawar, Prithviraj Chavan, Praful Patel were also present to shower blessings on the newly weds.
Ritesh Deshmukh is the son of Vilasrao Deshmukh, the Union Minister for Science, Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India, and the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Riteish and Genelia first met while shooting their debut film Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003.Though they both kept their relationship status low, but later it was big talk of B-Town.The couple announced their love for each other on Twitter last year Last year only on twitter.
