Finally ,Its been revealed ! Shipra Khanna won the prestigious title of Master Chef India Season 2 . She became winner of Masterchef India Season 2 by outstripping Salma Shazia Fatima Khan in a nail biting finish. Star Plus conducted grand finale of Masterchef India 2 on December 31st 2011 and 1st January, 2012.

Grand Finale - I (31st December)

Joseph, Shazia & Shipra were greeted by all the eliminated contestants and Akshay Kumar as they entered the grand finale. The contestants were given an hour to cook a dish, but the ingredients were presented to them gradually through a conveyor belt. They were given 10 options and they had a chance to reject 4 out of them. They started cooking blindly and finished a dish. It was tasted by all the judges and Akshay Kumar. Shipra presented a dessert, baked yogurt and Shazia & Joseph made main course dishes.

Shipra Khanna won the prestigious title of  Master Chef India Season 2 . She became winner of Masterchef India Season 2 by outstripping Salma Shazia Fatima Khan in a nail biting finish. Star Plus conducted grand finale of Masterchef India 2 on December 31st 2011 and 1st January, 2012.

There could not be better new year beginning for Shirpa ,grabbing coveted title of master chef of india. Shipra went on to win Rs. 1 crore, a trip voucher of London for 3 nights and 4 days.She also got a right to publish her own cookery book and also to broadcast her cookery Show on Star Plus.Soon viewers could enjoy learning cooking from their favourite chef.

Runnerups, Shazia won Rs. 10 lakh as cash money and Joseph won Rs. 5 lakh plus a job at Rennaisance Hotel, Mumbai. Journey of Masterchef India 2  began from 22nd October, 2011. Contestants were judged by expert Chefs Ajay Chopra,Kunal Kapoor and Vikash Khanna.
